What is TibFest? One weekend, three days, show & shine, camping and a whole lot of fun!
You don't have to own a Tiburon to take part. Everyone is welcomed at TibFest.
TibFest came about when someone asked where we could have a big meet for everyone to get together. I took it upon my self to come up with the concept of TibFest.
In year one (2003), we had 24 cars at TibFest for the weekend in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Attendees came from Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, New York and Massachusetts.
It looks like this year, we'll have over 40 cars comming from all over Nort America.
The heart of the event is the evenings around the camp fires having a good time and playing the occasional practical joke. The main official event is the Show and Shine at the local Hyundai dealer here in Kingston which is held on Saturday.
This year we are proud to have the Fire Prevention Division of the Kingston Fire and Rescue Department putting on a Fire Prevention presentation as it pertains to cars. We are trying to get the Automotive Extraction team to do a demo as well.
